Trust & Governance

Responsible AI, by design.

Planckchron is an advanced-technology company in active research and development. These principles govern how we research, design, and develop intelligent systems β€” and how we hold ourselves accountable for their effects.

Our principles

Six standards that guide the work.

Human oversight & accountability

People stay in control of consequential decisions. Our systems are designed to keep a human in or on the loop, with clear ownership for outcomes.

Safety & rigorous evaluation

Capabilities are evaluated before they advance. We test for failure modes, misuse, and unintended behaviour as a condition of progress, not an afterthought.

Transparency

We describe what our systems do β€” and what they do not yet do β€” in plain language, and label research-stage work honestly rather than overstating maturity.

Privacy & data protection

We collect only what a system needs, protect it in transit and at rest, and design data flows to minimise exposure of personal and sensitive information.

Fairness & non-discrimination

We work to identify and reduce harmful bias, and to ensure intelligent systems treat people equitably across the contexts in which they are used.

Security by design

Security is built into architecture from the first design decision β€” for the model, the data, and the infrastructure around it β€” not bolted on later.

What this means in practice

Our working commitments.

  • We label research-stage and conceptual work honestly, and avoid overclaiming capability.
  • We design for human oversight on consequential decisions.
  • We build privacy and security into systems from the start.
  • We evaluate for safety, misuse, and bias as a condition of advancing work.
  • We align our research with applicable law and ethical norms in the domains we serve.

These principles describe our standards and intent as a research-and-development company. They are not a certification or a guarantee of outcomes; we expect to refine them as our work and the field evolve.
