Quantum computing breakthrough 2025

By Planckchron Research • Aug 1, 2025 • 6 min read

We introduce a hardware-aware compiler pass coupled with robust error mitigation strategies that collectively push effective error rates below 10^-3 on near-term devices. This enables longer circuits and improves fidelity for practical workloads.

What changed

By co-designing compilation with calibrated hardware maps, we reduced crosstalk and gate depth. Error-aware routing selected qubits with stable T1/T2 windows during runtime calibration.

Why it matters

Lower error rates unlock deeper circuits for chemistry, optimization, and machine learning tasks, bringing practical quantum advantage closer.
